Mitzi Kimball proved dominant as Mary Washington won the school's first-ever NCAA Championship in women's tennis, as she finished the 1988 championship season with a 33-1 singles record as part of a standout career that saw her finish with a 132-33 record in singles. The all-time leader in singles and doubles victories in program history, Kimball led the Eagles to a 107-19 team record in four years, with four NCAA Tournament appearances.
