University of Mary Washington

One of the top field hockey players in school history, April led the 1993 team to a 22-2 record and the NCAA Division III National Championship game.  A two-time All-American she achieved multiple CAC Player of the Year, all-region, and all-conference honors.  April brought great acclaim to Mary Washington as a finalist for the 1993 Honda Broderick Award, which honors the top NCAA players in the nation.  She was a member of the U.S. National Indoor team.
