Hall of Fame
The 2013-14 UMW men's basketball team won more games and advanced further than any team in the NCAA Tournament in program history, finishing with a 25-6 record, winning the CAC Championship, and advancing to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals. The team defeated two top-ranked opponents in the same week in December, marking the first time any Eagle men's basketball team had beaten a top-10 team. With only two players in the regular rotation taller than 6'3", the 13-14 team was one of the top defensive teams in program history. Offensively, senior Bradley Riester was one of the top three point shooters in the nation, and classmate Dylan Farinet broke the single game scoring record with 42 points in a win over Penn State Harrisburg.
