McRae stood out as one of the greatest players in one of the best eras in women's basketball history at Mary Washington. She scored 1,383 career points (good for sixth in school history) and led the Eagles to a 30-1 record in advancing to the NCAA Tournament elite eight after a school-record 30-game win streak in her senior season. She is one of only five players in program history to surpass 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 200 assists, and 100 steals. McRae was a three-year first team all-conference selection. In her four-year career, UMW finished with an overall record of 95-19.
