Evan Fowler still ranks as the school and Capital Athletic Conference career leader in assists, with 652, and ranks first in school history and fifth in CAC history in steals, with 211. The point guard on UMW's first NCAA Tournament team in 2003, Fowler led the Eagles to a 44-13 record in his junior and senior seasons, which were the first two 20-win seasons in school history. He still ranks in the top 30 all-time in NCAA Division III history in assists.
