Evan Stiles was a multi-sport standout while at Mary Washington, performing at top levels for four years in water polo and swimming, as well as three years for baseball and one for tennis. A three-time all-state selection and three-year leading scorer for water polo, he holds the school records for most goals in a season and career. A three-year all-conference choice in swimming, he graduated with 11 school records, and holds the distinction of claiming the first pitching victory in program history for baseball. Believed to be the first four-sport, 12-letter athlete at the university, he is an accomplished national level swim coach, having coached reigning gold medalist and multiple world record holder Torri Huske.
