The University of Mary Washington women's basketball's first-year forward
Ainsley Phillips was named to the Steel Club Classic All-Tournament Team for her efforts in the Eagles' games in Bethlehem, PA early this week.
Phillips scored 24 points on 11-for-25 shooting, including a 3-pointer on Monday, 17 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals, committing just three turnovers across two games against Brooklyn and Cedar Crest.
Against Brooklyn on Monday, Phillips recorded her first career double-double after scoring 13 points and collecting 10 rebounds, recording two steals, a block, and an assist in the game. On Tuesday, in UMW's win over Cedar Crest, Phillips scored 11 more points, grabbed seven rebounds, and added three assists and a block in 25 minutes.
