The University of Mary Washington baseball team opened the 2015 season with an 11-2 and 16-1 doubleheader sweep of Plattsburgh State University on Saturday at Dickinson Stadium. The Eagles erupted for 25 on the day, with starting pitchers allowing just one hit combined.

Moynihan started the scoring in the third with an RBI single, and, after a wild pitch scored a run and a walk, Justin Kime drove in a run with a bases loaded hit by pitch. Haught followed with a two-run single, and after another wild pitch plated a run, a sacrifice fly from Slupek added another. Weaver capped the scoring with an RBI double.
