The University of Mary Washington men's and women's indoor track and field teams each finished fourth at the 2026 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championships this weekend in Newport News, Va.
The women finished fourth, as
Sophia Redmond won the 60 meters at 7.72, while
Yasmin Deane placed second at 7.78, and
Anijah James took fourth at 7.90. Deane won the 200 meters at 25.14 with a new meet record, while Redmond finished third at 26.12. James finished second in the 60 meter hurdles at 9.00, was third in the long jump at 5.47 meters, and fifth in the triple jump at 10.90 meters.
Jolene Adu was fourth in the triple jump at 10.93 meters, and the distance medley relay finished fourth at 13:31.17.
The men took fourth, as
Justin Ford took third in the 60 meters at 7.00, and
Jason Duncan finished fifth at 7.10.
Aidan Kimener was fourth in the 800 meters at 1:56.03, and the men's distance medley relay took fourth at 10:43.37. The men's 4x400 finished fourth at 3:28.96, and
Nicholas Smerlis finished fifth in the 3000 meters at 8:48.91.
