UMW's Yerigan and Angel Earn All-C2C Softball Honors

The University of Mary Washington softball team had a pair of players named to the All-Coast-to-Coast Conference squad as third baseman Emily Angel and outfielder Bayly Yerigan were named honorable mentions, the conference announced on Thursday.

Angel returned to All-Conference form in 2025 after earning All-Conference honors last spring. The junior hit a team-high .363 in 40 games for the Eagles this past spring with eight doubles, one triple, and drove three home runs out of the ballpark. The right-handed batter also drove in a team-high 25 runs with an OPS of .967.

Yerigan, meanwhile, cracked the starting lineup as a true freshman halfway through the season and didn't disappoint as she hit .333 in 33 games for UMW this spring. The lefty doubled twice and drove in five runs, while walking seven times. Yerigan reached on base in nearly 42% of her at-bats and stole six bases in nine attempts.

The Eagles are back in action on Friday for the Coast-to-Coast Conference Tournament against No. 8 Salisbury.
