The University of Mary Washington outdoor track and field teams competed at the Christopher Newport University New Captains Classic this weekend.
The women had a 2-3-4 finish in the 3000 meters, with
Addy Wallin taking second at 11:42.74,
Maddie Binkley taking third, and
Amelia Stephenson fourth.
Sophia Redmond finished third in the 100 meters at 12.38 seconds, and Stephenson finished second in the pole vault at eight feet, seven inches.Â
The men saw
Jacob Lohr finish first (8:44.56), and
Luke Blair second (8:48.80) in the 3000 meters, and the 4x100 relay finish third.
Aidan Kimener was fourth in the 800 meters at 1:57.47, and Ashton Schultz finished fifth in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
Aidan Smagh finished fifth in the long jump, at 20 feet, 9.25 inches.
