The University of Mary Washington outdoor track and field teams competed at the Dennis Craddock Inviational in Lynchburg, Va.
First year
Addy Wallin finished third in the 5000 meters at 19:23.49, and on the men's side,
Jacob Lohr took first place in the 10,000 meters, at 31:17.93. Eli Polovchick finished fifth in the javelin throw at 158 feet, nine inches.
On Saturday, the women's 4x100 relay finished fifth, at 49.43, and first year
Yasmin Deane ran the second-fastest time in the nation in winning the 100 meters in 11.87 seconds. Junior
Jacinto Jones II finished second in the 200 meters, with the sixth-fastest time in D3 at 21.40 seconds.Â
The Eagles will return to action next weekend at the Christopher Newport University Captains Classic.
