The University of Mary Washington men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed on day one at the Liberty University on Friday evening in Lynchburg.
The men saw junior
Jacinto Jones II finish seventh in the 200 meter dash, with a time of 21.63. Senior
Jacob Lohr finished 15th in the 5000 meters at 15:31.96.
The women had top performances from freshman
Lily Hoffman in the 5000 meters, as she finished second at 18:13.19. Freshman
Yasmine Deane took 21st in the 60 yard dash prelims (7.84), before finishing 31st in the 200 meters at 26.19. Junior
Sophia Redmond was 33rd at 26.36.
The meet will continue on Saurday.
