The University of Mary Washington men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed at the 2025 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championships this weekend in Newport News, Va. Both teams finished in fourth place, respectively.
For the women, Yasmin Deane finished in first place in the 60 meter dash at 7.69 seconds. Deane then finished second in the 200 meters at 25.83, while
Sophia Redmond took third at 26.52.
Lily Hoffman was third in the 5000 meters at 18:03.73.
The men saw
Justin Ford take third in the 60 meters at 7.07 seconds, and
Jacinto Jones II finish first in the 200 meters, at 22.08.
Jacob Lohr took third in the 3000 meters at 8:45.46, and third in the 5000 at 15:23.85. The men's 4x400 meter relay of Jones,
Mohammed Ahmed,
Aidan Kimener, and
Luke Wahlquist finished third, at 3:26.40. The distance medley took third as Kimener, Ahmed, Christopher Hulleman, and
Luke Blair finished at 10:39.13.
Aidan Smagh was third in the long jump at 21 feet, 8.75 inches.
