The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team continues to break records, as the Eagles, off the strength of their school-record 8-0 start to the season, have climbed to fifth in the nation in this week's D3Hoops.com national poll, released Tuesday night.
The Eagles went 2-0 last week, with a 65-52 win at Gettysburg College on Wednesday, and an 88-74 home win on Saturday. Those wins break the program record for best start in program history. Sophomore guard
Kye Robinson ranks third in the nation in scoring, at 29.0 PPG. He also ranks first in the nation in minutes played, at 39.9 minutes per contest.
UMW will be back in action after final exams, on Monday December 15 at home against North Carolina Wesleyan University at 5:00 p.m.
