The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the third week of the 2026 women's soccer season. The University of Mary Washington's Naomi Knight received C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Naomi Knight, Mary Washington

Naomi Knight scored once against St. Mary's and led the backline to a pair of shutouts. Against St. Mary's on Wednesday, Knight scored the game's second goal and took two shots for her first of the season. She led the defense in limiting the Seahawks into just five shots -- with only two of them on goal. Then against Batten, she limited the Marlins offensive chances as they took just six shots (three on goal) in 90 minutes of action as the Eagles dominated offensive possession with 11 shots.
