The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team has entered the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll for the first time this year after a 4-0 start to the season. The Eagles check in at No. 13 in the first week of the poll.

After opening the season with a 6-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite, the Eagles took down Whitman College 3-0, then North Carolina Wesleyan during the first week. After a postponement of last Wednesday's match against Hampden-Sydney, UMW took down Washington College, 3-1, after Andrew Brittain's hat trick sealed the victory.

The Eagles will take on No. 10 Lynchburg on Wednesday afternoon. First touch is set for 4 p.m. at Roy Gordon Field.
