Asher Willenborg was named the Player of the Year in singles and was joined by classmate
Trevor Rein as the doubles pair of the year as the 2026 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Team was announced on Friday. Freshman
Ryan Gipner was named Rookie of the Year, and
Todd Helbling was named Coach of the Year.

Cooper Lehman were named first team all-conference, while
Jack Riordan and
Ryan Battaglia were chosen for the second team.
Willenborg, a 2026 transfer, stepped into the number one slot in singles and doubles this spring, and has posted a 14-4 record in singles against some of the top ranked opponents in the nation. In doubles, Willenborg and Rein have gone 15-4 at number one.
Rein has played at two singles, recording a 9-9 mark this season. Gipner, who gained doubles All-America honors by advancing to the second round of the ITA Cup second round in the fall with Battaglia, gained first team honors in singles by going 15-6 in singles, playing anywhere from two to six in the lineup. He and sophomore
Will Fromherz were named second team all-conference in doubles.
Lehman was named first team all-conference in singles after recording a 12-6 record, mainly at five and six. Battaglia went 10-3 in dual matches in singles, and Riordan finished 12-9 in dual match singles. Riordan and
Evan Fisher were named first team all-conference in doubles at number two.
The Eagles will compete this weekend in the NCAA Tournament team competition in second round action at Case Western Reserve University. Willenborg has advanced to the NCAA singles championship, and will be joined by Rein in the doubles bracket.
