CANTON, Ga.  – After an amazing opening weekend the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference has named Mackenzie Proffitt the conference's offensive athlete of the week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Mackenzie Proffitt | Mary Washington | JR | Fredericksburg, Tenn.  – Junior midfielder Mackenzie Proffitt spearheaded Mary Washington's season-opening win at Roanoke College on Friday, scoring a pair of goals and adding one assist in the 5-1 triumph. Proffitt had been named to the NFHCA National Watch List earlier in the week.

The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday at Bridgewater at 7 p.m.
