COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is honored to announce the 2025 NFHCA Division III All-Region teams sponsored by Apex Field Hockey. Division III teams are separated into six regions and each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and second teams.
University of Mary Washington junior
Mackenzie Proffitt gained first team accolades, and junior
Katie Royle and senior
Grayson Scott earned second team honors in Region VI.
Proffitt, the Collegiate Field Hockey Conference Offensive Player of the Year, gains her first all-region award after scoring 13 goals and adding 11 assists leading the league in goals, assists, and points.
Royle was named to the second team after gaining CFHC Defensive Player of the Year, and leading an Eagle defense that outscored its conference opponents, 20-1, in the regular season, as a standout on the back line.
Scott capped her outstanding career this season by scoring 14 goals, including three as the Eagles repeated as CFHC champions. She posted 49 goals and five assists in three seasons for the Eagles.
The NFHCA Division III All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of NFHCA postseason awards over the next several weeks. Next to be announced are the NFHCA Regional Players of the Year on December 11, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on December 16 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on December 18.
