Gerrard Valoyi claimed C2C Offensive Player of the Week honors, while the Eagles
Tristan Kickbush was tabbed C2C Defensive Player of the Week.
OFFENSIVEÂ PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Gerrard Valoyi, Mary Washington
Mary Washington sophomore Gerrard Valoyi recorded the game's lone goal in the Eagles' 1-0 win over No. 22 Christopher Newport on Wednesday evening. Valoyi was set up well on a corner, heading the ball into the back of the net, beating CNU's defense on his lone shot of the night.
DEFENSIVEÂ PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tristan Kickbush, Mary Washington
Mary Washington senior Tristan Kickbush shut out No. 22 Christopher Newport for a second time this season on Wednesday evening in the Eagles' 1-0 victory. Kickbush recorded four saves in the win as the Captains recorded 16 total shots. He deflected a pair of game-winning attempts in the final 10 minutes as CNU tried to tie the score.
