The University of Mary Washington men's soccer team fell to Salisbury in the Coast-to-Coast Conference Semifinals on Friday night in Newport News, Va., 2-0.
Salisbury took control of the game early as it out-shot UMW by six, 9-3, in the first half before scoring in the 50th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Sea Gulls then scored once more in the 76th minute to finish UMW off.
The Eagles were out-shot by 13, 24-11, while only taking three shots-on-goal. The Sea Gulls, meanwhile, had 13 on goal.
Sammy Amorose led the way for UMW with seven shots (three on goal, while Gerarrd Valoyi had a pair.
The Eagles finish the season 9-7-3.
