University of Mary Washington first year runner Lily Hoffman has been named as the 2024 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Year, as announced on Wednesday.

Hoffman had a very successful regular season, and finished in fifth place at the C2C Championships in Newport Nws, Va. She then continued to excel, finishing in 20th place at the NCAA South Regional in Clinton, Mississippi, and gained all-region honors.

She capped the season by becoming the first UMW female runner to advance to the NCAA Championships since Jillian Weisbeck advanced in 2018, finishing in 176th place.
