The 21st ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to 15th ranked Trinity (Tx.) University on Saturday at the Hegmann Family Tennis Courts. The Eagles slip to 3-5 on the season.

In doubles, the Eagles scored a pair of wins, as Amanda Hagino and Hana Kimmey gained an 8-7 victory at one, and Abby Moghtader and Rebecca Stepleman scored an 8-5 win at two.

In singles, Stepleman scored the Eagles' lone point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at four. Three other matches went to three sets, but none fell the Eagles way.

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they host North Carolina Wesleyan College at 4:00 p.m.
