The 29th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team reeled off wins at one and two singles and doubles, but fell in a tight 4-3 decision to #14 Carnegie Mellon University on Sunday afternoon at the Hegmann Family Courts. The Eagles slip to 6-4 on the season.

Addison Felts and sophomore
Natalie Kim gained a 6-3 win at one, and at two, freshmen
Isabella Rotaru and Sophia Sandoval Banuelos gained a 6-3 win as well, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead heading to singles.
Rotaru scored a 6-1, 7-5 win at two singles over Shelly Zinchenko at two singles and Felts gained a 3-0 (ret.) win over Jane Wong at one. The Eagles fell in competitive matches down the line for the final result.Â
The Eagles will host #23 Christopher Newport University on Friday at 3:00 p.m.
