The 29th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to seventh ranked Johns Hopkins University on Saturday at the UMW Indoor Center. The Eagles slip to 6-3 on the season.
The Eagles dropped all three doubles matches, with freshmen
Isabella Rotaru and Sophia Sandoval Banuelos falling in a 7-6 tiebreaker.
Rotaru then advanced to a third set tiebreaker at two, falling, 7-5, 6-2, 0-1 (1).
Sophia Broomall also extended her match to three sets, before falling 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.
UMW will host 14th ranked Carnegie Mellon University on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
