University of Mary Washington goalie
Ryan D'Angelo has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Scholar All-America Team, and the team gained all-academic honors as well.
D'Angelo, an All-American for his stellar play on the field, stood out in his first season as starter, breaking the school season record with 244 saves. He posted an 11.7 goals-against average, with a .560 save percentage. He set a career high with 28 saves at Christopher Newport, and posted 21 at Salisbury.
The team recognition comes from the team carrying a 3.0 grade-point average.
