Oliver Martin earned C2C Player of the Week merit.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Oliver Martin, Mary Washington
Mary Washington junior Oliver Martin put on a show at the plate, going 7-for-15 with a home run, five RBIs and a walk in four victories. In an upset over No. 5 Johns Hopkins on Wednesday, Martin went 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs, while scoring the go-ahead run in a 9-6 victory. On Saturday against Muskingum, he followed it up with a 2-for-7 day at the plate with a walk and a pair of RBIs in a doubleheader sweep. And on Sunday, Martin collected his final hit of the week in a 7-5 victory over the Muskies to clinch the weekend sweep. In the field, Martin was perfect behind the plate and even nabbed a would-be-base-stealer on Saturday.
