MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kye Robinson, Mary Washington
Mary Washington sophomore Kye Robinson averaged 31.5 points per game last week, and is believed to have eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau faster than any player in program history, leading the eighth ranked Eagles to wins over Salisbury and Southern Virginia. The guard scored 33 points on 10-14 shooting from the floor and 10-11 from the free throw line in an 88-72 victory over the Sea Gulls, and poured in 30 points on 9-19 shooting (11-13 free throws) against the Knights. In addition, he was perfect from three-point range for the week, going 4-4, and averaged 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. He ranks ninth in the nation with 24.8 points per game.
