To be a
USILA Scholar All-American,Â
a student-athlete must be a senior with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and be nominated by their coach. Additionally, the nominee must be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player. The
USILA Scholar All-American committee then reviews nominations based on these criteria, evaluating the nominee's academic and athletic achievements, as well as their conduct both on and off the field.Â
TheÂ
USILA Team Academic Award recognizes lacrosse programs withÂ
a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. This award acknowledges the academic achievements of the team as a whole, alongside individual Scholar All-American awards for outstanding student-athletes.Â
