The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team will head up to Middlebury, VT for the third round and quarterfinal of the 2025 NCAA Women's Soccer Championships this weekend.

The Eagles will take on Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the winner taking on a NESCAC school in No. 3 Tufts or No. 12 Middlebury on Sunday. Live stream and live stats links with be available on UMWEagles.com.

The Eagles have already advanced past a pair of ranked opponents in the NCAA Tournament after taking down No. 20 Vassar on Saturday, then getting by No. 10 Williams (also a NESCAC school) on Sunday in a 2-2 draw that saw the Eagles advance on penalty kicks, 4-2.

UMW, too, has already played Penn State Harrisburg this season. The Eagles took down the Lions already this season -- a 1-0 victory on Aug. 31 that saw Skye Lawhun net the game's lone goal in the 16th minute. PSH took nine total shots with just one on goal. It was the second of UMW's 15 shutouts this season, which ties a program best set back in 1997.

After starting the season 0-1-1 after visiting Fredericksburg earlier this year, PSH is 16-5-4 entering this upcoming weekend. It has three of ranked wins this fall -- 1-0 over then-No. 4 Messiah on Oct. 14; a 2-1 win over No. 14 Christopher Newport on Saturday; and a 1-0 victory over No. 11 Rowan on Sunday in the second round. The Lions were the United East Conference champs, earning the conference's auto-bid by advancing past St. Mary's on penalty kicks in the title game (the Eagles beat the Seahawks 4-0 on Oct. 25).
