The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team was ranked fifth in Region VI by the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles (8-2-1) took down then-No. 3 Christopher Newport (now No. 14) on Saturday night, moving up from sixth last week. The Captains are ranked fourth in the USC's latest region rankings.

Mary Washington hosts Dickinson College on Wednesday night at the Turf Stadium in Fredericksburg, Va. at 7 pm.
