UMW Baseball Falls at CNU, 6-1, to Close 2021 Season

The University of Mary Washington baseball team saw its season come to a close with a 6-1 loss at Christopher Newport University on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles close the year with an 11-17 record.

The Captains jumped ahead with two runs in the second, one in the third, and one in the fourth, and never trailed. The Eagles collected four hits, with Ty Lowe connecting for a double, and Bobby Ayscue, Garrett Lyons, and Noah Roots adding singles.
