The Eagles broke the game open with five in the fifth. Alex Bryant singled and Stein walked, and both runners advanced on a wild pitch. Lilley followed with a single to plate Bryant, and after a walk, Seth Jordan plated Stein with a single. Haught then walked with the bases loaded for another run, and Jones drove in two with a double.

After Jordan walked and Haught was hit by a pitch to open the seventh, Jones doubled home both runners to up the final margin to 12-2.
