Box Score GETTYSBURG, PA - Sophomore Will Gallop (Charlottesville, Va., Charlottesville) scored the game's lone goal at 40:30 on a Jimmy Ford (Nokesville, Va., Brentsville) assist, and senior goalkeeper Emmett Rutkowski (Culpeper, Va., Culpeper) made a crucial save of a penalty kick with 12 minutes remaining to lead the University of Mary Washington men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Gettysburg College on Wednesday night in Gettysburg.

Gettysburg outshot the Eagles, 12-6, and had seven corner kicks to five for the Eagles. Rutkowski made eight saves in earning the shutout victory.

Mary Washington will host Gallaudet University next Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in a Capital Athletic Conference match.
