In Game 2, UMW trailed by a pair of runs in the fifth when it came back to tie the game.
Mia Farhat drew a bases-loaded walk before
Emily Angel tied the game with a sac fly to center field. But in the bottom half, the Sea Gulls took the lead, then added another run in the sixth, 4-2.
Cierra Foss pitched all six innings for the Eagles as she yielded four runs (three earned), while striking out four.
The Eagles are back in action on Sunday against Catholic. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
