UMW Baseball (RV) Falls to #13/#14 Salisbury on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington baseball team (RV) fell to No. 13/14 Salisbury in Salisbury, Md., 11-1. on Saturday.

The Eagles took an early 1-0 lead when Connor Hassan singled home Oliver Martin in the top of the first inning. But the Sea Gulls countered for a pair of runs in the first to take the lead for good.

Matthew Boyd tossed 3.1 innings of one-run baseball out of the bullpen for UMW. William Tuttle recorded the other hit for Mary Washington.

The Eagles are back in action against No. 7/9 Bridgewater in Bridgewater, Va on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
