The University of Mary Washington men's basketball team will host the third round of the NCAA Division III tournament this Saturday, March 14, against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Tipoff time is set for 6:00 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena.
Mary Washington, ranked fifth in the nation entering the tournament, is the fourth overall seed in the tournament, and hosts the third round for the first time since 2014. The Eagles have won a school record 26 games, with a 26-3 record.
The Eagles are making their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance, including their third in four years, and are hosting tournament action for the second time. The Eagles have posted an 8-3 mark against foes that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, and are undefeated at home this season (15-0).
General admission tickets can be purchased in-person at the ticket booth located at the court yard entrance of the arena, starting 90 minutes before tipoff of the first game each day, and are good for all games played that day.
