University of Mary Washington sophomore guard
Kye Robinson has been named to the 2025-26 D3hoops.com Men's Basketball All-America second team.
The 6-2 guard gains consensus All-America honors, after being named to the third team last week by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The 2026 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Robinson has averaged 24.3 points per game, breaking the school record with 776 points this season in 32 games. He has broken the school season records for points, points per game, field goals made (253), field goals attempted (505), free throws made (236), and free throws attempted (293).Â
Robinson has twice reached a career high in points this season with 38, in wins over Yeshiva and UC-Santa Cruz. In addition, he leads the team in assists, with 126, as well as rebounds (219; 6.8 per game). He was a six-time winner of the C2C Player of the Week, and is one of just seven finalists from NCAA Division III for the Bevo Francis Award, given to the top small college player in the country. He has scored double figures in 31 of 32 games, and reached 20 points or more in 24 games.Â
Robinson, who has led the Eagles to the Division III national championship game, becomes the second D3hoops All-America selection in program history, and the first since Greg Rowson gained fifth team honors in 2023. He currently ranks 16th in school history with 1,186 points.
