The University of Mary Washington equestrian team hosted a pair of shows this weekend at EKG Farm, gaining reserve high point honors on Saturday.
On Saturday, UMW saw
Eliza LaViolette finish second in open over fences and first in open on the flat, and
Lola Bender take fifth in intermediate over fences and second in intermediate on the flat.
In limit over fences, the Eagles saw
Miranda Herd finish first, Lilian Mansfield sixth,
Shelby Kaye fourth, andÂ
Anna Wood sixth. In limit on the flat, Herd finished second, Mansfield, Kaye fifth, and Wood third.
In Novice Flat,
Maddie Hendell took second, Allie Kugler fourth, and
Victoria Pearson third.
Fiona Chase was second in introductory flat.
On Sunday, which was senior day, LaViolette was fifth in open over fences and second on the flat, and Bender was fifth in Intermediate Over Fences.
In Limit Over Fences,
Miranda Herd was first, Lilian Mansfield second,
Shelby Kaye sixth, and
Maggie Alt sixth. In Limit Flat, Herd was fifth, Mansfield was second, Kaye third, and Alt sixth.
