The University of Mary Washington equestrian team opened the 2026-27 season with a show at Sweet Briar College on Sunday.
Highlights includedÂ
Lola Bender finishing in second place in open fences and second place in intermediate flat.
Emily Francis competed in good course intermediate fences,
Anna Wood was 6th in limit fences, andÂ
Lily Mansfield competed in good course limit fences.
Allison Dahlin competed in good limit flat,Â
Paige South was third in novice flat,Â
Fiona Chase was fourth in pre-novice on the flat, andÂ
Ruth Lee was third in introductory on the flat.
The team will next compete on Saturday, October 31 at Liberty University.
