UMW Women's Rugby's Jo Lent competed in National Collegiate Rugby's 15s All Star Showcase this past Saturday, January 24th, 2026, in Atlanta. 

Women's rugby athletes across all divisions were selected for their performance. Jo was selected to play for the "Hawks" team over the weekend, coached by Southern Nazarene's Women's and Men's Assistant Head Coach, Tom Willoughby.

Lent and the Hawks finished second in the showcase. She played strong defensively with clean tackles at the wing, powerful carries, and phenomenal support at the breakdowns. UMW Athletics and UMW Women's Rugby are extremely proud of Jo and her representation of our program.
