The sixth ranked University of Mary Washington men's basketball team rolled to an 84-58 victory over Regent University on Saturday afternoon at Ron Rosner Arena. The win improves the Eagles to 14-1 on the season, and marks the 400th collegiate coaching victory for head coach
Marcus Kahn.
The Eagles steadily built a lead in the first, with a three pointer from sophomore
Colin Mitchell at 12:17 remaining upping the lead to double figures, at 19-8. Three pointers from first years Josh Seworder and
Anthony Lewis raised the margin to 15, and another from sophomore
Kye Robinson gave the Eagles a 20-point cushion, at 34-14, with 6:58 left in the first half.

Ben Lichter on an 8-0 run gave the Eagles a 48-20 advantage, and the home side carried a 48-23 lead to halftime.
In the second half, the Eagles continued to excel offensively, shooting 51.9% from the field (14-27), making 5-9 three point tries, and limited the Royals to 37.9% (11-29).
Robinson led the Eagles with 19 points on 7-11 shooting (2-3 from distance), and also led with nine assists and six rebounds. Lewis scored 11 points on 4-6 shooting, and Randall and White each added six rebounds.
The Eagles shot 55.7% for the day (34-61), making 10-22 three point attempts and 6-11 free throws. Regent shot 38.6% (22-57), making 7-23 three point shots and 7-13 free throws. The Eagles held a 37-31 advantage in rebounds.
For Kahn, he becomes just the 31st active head coach among more than 400 in NCAA Division III to surpass 400 career wins.Â
The Eagles will play Mary Baldwin University on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena.
