The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Bridgewater College on Wednesday night in an intra-state non-conference match. Game scores were 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.
The Eagles saw
Avery Gallahue score five kills, while
Mackenzie Williams,
Sarah Starling,
Alice Holoubek, and
Natalie Brown each added four.
Olivia Fortier led with 10 assists and
Maura Munson added seven, and Holoubek and Brown each had two block assists.
Sydney Aiken had five digs.
Mary Washington hit .100 (21 kills, 15 errors, 60 attacks), while Bridgewater hit .348 on 37 kills, 13 errors in 69 attacks.
The Eagles will return to action on Friday, when they face Whittier College at 4 pm and Franklin & Marshall College at 6 pm at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.
