Box Score The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Misericordia University on Friday night in Scranton, Pa. Game scores were 25-20, 25-19, 24-26, 25-16.

Sophomore Sarah Starling led the Eagles with 14 kills against three errors in 24 attempts (.458), as the lone Eagle with double figure kills. Senior Maura Munson led with 14 assists while Olivia Fortier added 11, and Fortier and Avery Gallahue each posted three service aces. Junior Julia Gustafson led with 12 digs.

The Eagles hit .084 for the night, with 32 kills and 23 errors on 107 attempts. UMW will be back in action on Saturday, when the Eagles face William Smith College at 11 a.m. and host University of Scranton at 1:30 p.m.
