Cassidy Shaw provided a pair of assists.
The Eagles jumped on top early, as Landel booted her first goal of the campaign just 2:57 into play. UMW added another at 12:20, as Royster netted her first tally of the year on assists from Landel and Shaw. The Eagles held a 2-0 lead at halftime.
In the second, UMW posted its third score at 51:10, as Royster scored on Shaw's assist. The Eagles gained a penalty kick score at 62:03 by
Naomi Knight, and first year
Elise McGee capped the scoring at 77:20.
In all, the Eagles led in shots, 24-7, as well as in corner kicks, 5-2. Sophomore goalie
Emily Orn made a pair of saves in 68 minutes, while first year
Kate Ronzoni turned in a clean sheet in 22 minutes of relief in goal, as the Eagles gained the shutout.
