UMW Baseball Loses to Neumann, 9-2

The University of Mary Washington fell to Neumann on Tuesday afternoon in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 9-2.

The Eagles took an early 1-0 lead in the second when Burke Stiefman reached on an error that scored Connor Hassan. And in the sixth, as the Eagles trailed 3-1, Bobby Ayscue's solo homer brought the score to within one. But the Knights scored six more runs after that to take a 9-2 lead.

Mary Washington is back in action on Thursday for its final games in Myrtle Beach against Stevenson.
