The University of Mary Washington women's basketball team fell to Randolph-Macon in Ashland, Va. on Friday evening, 60-48. The Eagles were led by
Maddy Jenisch, who led UMW with 13 points.
The Eagles took a first quarter lead, 11-8, before the Yellow Jackets took control the rest of the way. Jenisch, though, knocked down three of her 3-pointer's. On the offensive end, UMW shot 21-of-51 from the floor (41.2%) and knocked down 4 of its 3-pointer's (30.8%).
On the other end, RMC was held to a 24-of-67 line from the floor (35.8%) and just a 3-for-21 mark from deep (14.3%).
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Shenandoah in Ashland, Va.
