The University of Mary Washington women's basketball team fell at Chatham on Friday evening, 68-56, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Maddy Jenisch added a team-best 10 points, which included knocking down a 3-pointer, while
Jenna Steadman added nine as well.
Mackenzie Wharton hit a pair of 3's on her two attempts to add seven points to the tally as well.
The Eagles scored 19 points in the first quarter before faltering the rest of the way. They shot 19-of-52, while adding a 6-of-19 mark from deep (31.6%), forcing Chatham into 15 turnovers that included seven steals --
