UMW Volleyball Falls at Messiah on Friday Night

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Messiah University on Friday night. Game scores were 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Sophomore Sarah Starling had eight kills for the Eagles, while senior Avery Gallahue added seven. Senior Maura Munson scored 11 assists, and first year Olivia Fortier added nine, along with a team-high eight digs.

The Eagles will play a pair of matches on Saturday at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Md.
